28 SevenMeters activists are these days touring Denmark's biggest festival.

The purpose is to;

  • Give the festival guests an experience that will make them think and discuss climate issues.
  • Send a message to UN’s COP15-summit in Copenhagen in December.
  • Make the festival guests participate and mobilize in the SevenMeters.net campaign during the festival and after the festival!
  • Recruit activists for our activist network, which can mobilize and make events and demonstrations after the festival.
  • Give the guests a good experience and to have fun!

Our Activities at the Festival

  • Climate wheel of fortune.
  • Climate quiz with fabulous prizes.
  • Bodypaint competition and announcement of Mister and Miss Climate 2009!
  • World's largest 'Cheers' for the climate and for everybody's effort to save it.
  • Climate army flashing their LED ligths.
  • Writing climate cartoons.
  • Flashmob: all turn on their LED lights at the same time during a couple of important concerts at the festival.

Obama will be set up naked in Copenhagen

On Wednesday at 11.30 am. Jens Galschiot will set up a balancing Obama-like sculpture doing a handstand on a 7 -meter pole. The sculpture is the first of four new Balancing Act sculptures being set up on different locations in Copenhagen. They will join a party of the 14-meter high sculpture that has already been placed on the Parliament square.

Throughout the COP15, you will be able to join the guided tours, where you will see the SevenMeters-exhibitions around Bella Center as well as the other Gliwing-Climate art-pieces in the area. It is SevenMeters' cooperator Illumenarts who is behind the guided tours. Read more for dates and times;
